Carbon accounting
Counted at the weighbridge.
Our carbon figures start with mass, not modelling. Every load in and out crosses a weighbridge, every batch is sampled, and the reconciliation between the two is what we publish. Where a factor is estimated, we say so and name the source.
Recovered carbon black displaces virgin furnace black in rubber and polymer applications. The exact saving depends on the product grade and the displacement factor agreed with the customer — we do not apply a single headline percentage across all output.
Standards
Permitted, audited, reported.
The plant operates under the relevant environmental permits with emissions monitoring on the thermal line. Management systems are aligned to recognised environmental and quality standards, and mass balance is reviewed by an independent auditor.
Off-take customers receive batch-level documentation: input origin, processing conditions, output analysis and the carbon figure attached to the tonnage they take.
What we don’t do
No offsets. No rounded numbers.
We do not buy offsets to describe the plant as neutral, and we do not publish headline figures without the workings behind them. If a number cannot survive an auditor, it does not go on the site.
